Keeping in view the present prevailing situation across Kashmir valley All j&k students union has requested students to join classes after students held the massive protests against Pulwama incident. However, they appealed authorities to ensure the security of students and demanded release of all arrested students.

"We request everyone not to believe rumors being spread against us. We are students and are only concerned with student related issues, please do not brand us, or declare us what hear without any authenticity." Spokesman of Union said.

Kashmir is not the only place where student clash with police but almost every state in World has witnessed, violence, vandalism from last few years , the way Kashmiri students were handled has saddened us, said AJKSU spokesman.

Education in Kashmir has already suffered a lot, now authorities should make sure that they would release students and students should join classes to prevent further loss to precious educational session, said a statement issued here.

It is because of these incidents there is deep political alienation among youth of Kashmir. Moreover, We appeal the State government to take all those FIR's back if they have logged against any student across Kashmir Valley during post clashes.

We had made it clear more than hundred times that AJKSU have no any direct or indirect affiliation with any off stream and main stream parties of Jammu and Kashmir. And yet again we want to make it clear that we are not affiliated to any mainstream, off-stream or any other religious party.

Moreover, the AJKSU members were threatened and there families were called by security agencies from last couple of days, so keeping in view all these things we are looking for stopping all the activities.

We are really squeezed between authorities and some people. Our core body is living distressful life, as they suspect something wrong going on. Our Spokesperson, has stumbled with some unknown persons, who have threatened him of consequences, if he did not stopped working, we request everyone not to believe rumors being spread against us. We are students and are only concerned with student related issues, please do not brand us, or declare us what hear without any authenticity.

It is pertinent to note here that We started this AJKSU years back with this intention to address student related problems. Since the establishment of this organisation we only addressed and tried to solve the student related problems both in Kashmir and in other states of India. Till date what AJKSU have done for students of Jammu and Kashmir is an open case.
